Digital Marketing and Social Media Internship - Brand Experience

The Digital Marketing Intern will provide professional experience in a broad range of digital marketing projects to build brand awareness and drive lead generation on our web sites. The role is instrumental in driving and increasing traffic to the company’s websites, recommending and implementing changes to improve the visitor experience, conduct thorough testing while ensuring brand consistency and positive brand image. Provide support to our marketing team at live and online events. Social Media Intern contributes on an on-going basis in developing the stations' promotion and marketing efforts in a manner that will both achieve maximum audience interest and ratings, while maintaining the company's aesthetic, moral, and ethical standards. Works in a cooperative manner, interacting effectively with all station personnel, clients, outside vendors, and viewers. May drive station vehicles to and from events. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a college or university with an emphasis in Broadcasting, Advertising, Marketing or Communications. Must receive college credit for an internship and provide appropriate paperwork from school. Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving history as determined by the Company (driving record will be checked) Able to work roughly 10 hours per week, including weekdays & weeknights. Must also be available for some weekends. Punctuality and attendance are critical. Ability to work independently and operate effectively in high-pressure, time-critical situations. Project an appropriate company image with respect to dress and demeanor, as well as maintain a positive attitude at all times. Possess excellent organizational skills with multi-tasking capabilities; communication skills, both written and verbal; and problem solving/critical thinking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
