The Dallas Cowboys Event Presentation Department is looking for an experienced Video Editor to create content for all Dallas Cowboys home games. This position is responsible for the creation of in-game content for all Cowboys home games as well as all other events that the Event Presentation Department oversees both at AT&T Stadium and Ford Center at the Star. This position reports to the Director of Event Presentation. Tasks and Responsibilities: Creating storyboards for video content Post-production, editing, compositing and special effects Transcoding and Encoding Quality control of projects from concept to completion Assist with game day editing duties in the control room Identify new techniques and what it takes to remain on the leading edge in technology and software in live entertainment content Video Production: Create high end video content and other graphical elements for the in-game production of all Dallas Cowboys home games Work closely with the Event Presentation staff on all ideas and concepts for content Knowledge of sports and the ideation process of creating content for live events (sports) Knowledge of video compression, transcoding, and encoding. Specifically strong familiarity with various video codecs used in digital workflow Assist with on-location shoots with players and other talent Additional Duties: Content creation for other 3rd party events as needed for both AT&T Stadium and Ford Center at The Star Live Event editing during Cowboys Home games building highlights, roll outs, and short music videos using real time footage Assist Event Presentation Department with additional internal content request needs from other departments Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications: Knowledge, Skill and Ability: Strong creative skills and knowledge of sports entertainment in a production environment Solid understanding of editing techniques Interest in sports, culture and entertainment Ability to work well under pressure and on multiple projects Ability to collaborate and work well with others Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent trouble-shooting abilities Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Must be self-motivated and possess a passion for maximizing production value Must be proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis in After Effects, Premier, and Photoshop Must be able to work flexible hours (including weekends and holidays) and on tight deadlines Education and Formal Training: Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience in live entertainment and video production Adobe Premier and After Effects Mastery with proficiency in other Adobe creative applications Cinema4D proficiency a plus Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of professional video production experience utilizing various post production techniques.
