Opportunity Overview What part will you play? Warner Bros. Pictures seeks a Post Production Supervisor for the Post Production department. Responsible for the post production process of assigned projects to ensure timely delivery for distribution, under the supervision of SVP of Post Production. Supervise all day-to-day post production operations for assigned produced and distributed features to ensure timely and efficient completion. Supervises editorial, sound, music, ADR, and additional post production duties and responsibilities. Create, implement, and supervise timelines, schedules and budgets for post production projects. Design media/dailies workflow suited for each project. Create workflow documents. Draft and execute post production crew contracts. Evaluate vendors, request bids, and issue POs. Create and update post production tracking documents. Review purchase orders. Responsible for delivery of assigned films (both in-house projects and negative pick-ups). Supervise the timely shipment and delivery of all elements required for distribution of assigned films. Supervise laboratory services, including creation of all picture and sound delivery formats. Liaise with projection engineering with technical set-up of market research screenings, including theatre sound and projection, and audience recording. Anticipate needs of various departments and serves as liaison to manage deadlines. Liaise with Publicity, Marketing and Distribution to provide necessary elements and delivery items. Supervise and coordinate with post production supervisors assigned on individual film projects. Implement anti-piracy procedures as mandated by studio for Feature Post Production. Travel, as required, to location to supervise preview screenings and dubbing and post production activities. Provide administrative support to SVP of Post Production. Performs other related duties or special projects as required. What do we require from you? College Degree in related field preferred. Minimum 5 years’ experience in production or post production. Experience working with scheduling and budgeting. Working knowledge of post production/understanding of technical terms and processes. PC Skills: Solid word processing skills required. Proficiency with Mac and PC workflows, Word, Excel, and Movie Magic Budgeting required. Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and English usage. Knowledge of report, letter, etc. format. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. The Warner Bros.
