Join World Vision as a Video Producer II The Video Producer II role calls for a compelling, visual storyteller that can fill multiple roles in any production and can develop compelling narratives and visuals. The position is responsible for production and management of branded video projects, including the pre, shoot, and post video production (i.e. strategy, ideation, shooting, editing, project prioritization, management of files/file naming, content delivery and evaluating video analytics from social media.) Utilize your good working knowledge of various types of video content including commercials, marketing, social media & documentary-style. Join a team that acts as an internal advertising agency/design studio. This role requires the ability to translate concepts into evocative and compelling storytelling that’s also on brand through aesthetic acuity and technical knowledge of shooting, lighting, sound (including equipment) and editing in a Mac environment. The successful candidate will keep up to date on the latest trends in video, motion graphics and visual effects. This position works closely with the VP of Brand and Communications and the Video, Design, Copy, Social, and Acquisitions teams to build branded video content across all channels with accuracy and consistency, elevating the brand experience and ultimately driving consumer engagement and loyalty through strategy development and content execution. More specifically, this role is responsible for the creative development of video concepts, original and compelling video content for Marketing, Social and Acquisition assets. Responsibilities include: Produce high quality videos, from the initial creative meeting through the post production process, including writing, researching, shooting, directing, editing, graphic animation, encoding, and DVD authoring and burning, using professional video cameras, computer software, and linear and nonlinear video editing systems. Write persuasive and influential scripts for videos to maximize the impact on the intended audience, ensuring that information and language effectively communicates World Vision's ministry. Research all information for use in video production, ensuring that information is accurate and relevant for the video’s intended audience. Manage all aspects of assigned video projects and shoots, both in country and overseas, adhering to project budget, deadlines and targeted message. Schedule all post-production activity, including recording narration, music, and other aspects of post-production work. Assist in managing the work of freelance video professionals, providing conceptual and technical advice to ensure high quality final products. Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools. Required Skills Required Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent (eight years) work experience. In addition to education or educational equivalent, requires work experience in video production; 3 - 5 years. Preferred Qualifications/Experience: Well-versed in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Da Vinci Color. Speed and proficiency with video cameras including: RED Scarlet W, Sony FS7, Canon C100, Panasonic Lumix GH4, Sony A7SII Working knowledge of lighting and audio techniques. Manage video library and assets. Evaluate video analytics from social media and digital media sources. 3D/VR/360 experience is a plus. Ability to operate a drone and/or drone permit.
