Overview

We are looking for a key creative Audio Designer that is experienced in multiple phases of the game development cycle. We believe audio is central to any interactive experience, and are looking to add this key audio contributor that shares the same philosophy as our team. This professional will be responsible for all audio design, processing and implementation, and feedback on assigned titles. Must be able to work well within a team environment to develop, design and technically implement concepts throughout all stages of production.

Responsibilities
  • Compose, record, integrate and enhance music and sound effects utilizing commercial music software: sequencer, wave file editor, effects plug- ins, etc…
  • Ability to synchronize sound to animations and game events.
  • Design high quality audio that enhances the entertainment and playability of the games assigned.
  • Define and document implementation requirements for sound scheme on assigned games to ensure proper synchronization to graphic events.
  • Work closely with fellow sound designers to establish community and consistency for implementing high quality in all products.
  • Keep current on industry technologies to help lead choices in audio design within group.
  • Experience with recording engineering such as Foley work, ability to script write/edit and coach voice talent
Qualifications
  • BA in Music/Audio or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in authoring 5.1 music and sound.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple games at once.
  • Must have 5+ years experience in audio related field
  • Experience with middleware audio engines and integrating scripted audio events highly desirable.
  • Must be well versed in multiple styles of music composition including orchestral, pop, R&B, disco, rock, and ethnic
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must be able to obtain a gaming license.
