LIVE! Technologies is currently hiring for Audio Technicians to add to our team in both part-time and full-time positions. PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Prepare audio systems, transport, set up, operate, and tear down for all events assigned.

  • Prepare all equipment for rental per Operation Manager's specifications.

  • Assist the Audio Operations manager in assuring proper amount of equipment is sent to each event in suitable working condition.

  • Assist with loading and unloading of all equipment for Live Technologies LLC events.

  • Maintain consoles, speakers, amplifiers, cables, and related audio systems parts.

  • Direct and assist local crews, assembling and disassembling of all show equipment while maintaining a safe working environment.

  • Complete trucking inspections and paperwork as required and as per federal regulations.

  • Coordinate logistics with other Rental Production departments and assist as a lighting, video, or stage technician.

  • Creatively and comprehensively mix/blend audio for FOH and Monitors of various sources including: music instruments, acoustic instruments, microphones, wireless microphones (hand/lavaliere), playback of pre-recorded sounds, and other electronic signals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • This position requires: High school diploma or equivalent education.

  • Previous working and intimate knowledge/experience of controlling and operating audio equipment such as large and small format mixing consoles, front of house and monitors, chain hoists, flown and ground stacked sound reinforcement systems, amplifiers, signal flow, system processing, equalizers, effect units, gates, compressors, wiring, AC, power distribution units.

  • Must have the ability to use and understand various kinds of test equipment, tools, and meters such as volt, ohm, and amp meters.

  • Basic understanding of electrical audio principles, drawings, stage plots, and basic computer literacy is a plus.

  • Operational knowledge and understanding of digital mixing consoles is a plus.

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, superior analytical, communicative, and problem-solving proficiencies to evaluate and solve problems in a timely manner.

  • Candidate must currently have or obtain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class B license with air brake endorsement, within three months of date of hire.
